Lady Lori were flying a lovely Canadian couple along the Mara River in the Northern Serrengeti in Tanzania and set down alongside the river just as the Wildebeest started to cross.

The Wildebeest seemed to be heading north, when they should have been heading south and we watched them cross the river and cross back again in their confusion.

The current in the river was very strong and they were, as the film shows, swept quite a way down stream before they were able to successfully cross.

At one point, again as the film shows, they were crossing just 15m from us.
