Chebii

It is with much sadness that we have to report that our great friends at Loisaba have contacted us regarding the poaching of Chebii, one of the reserve’s female rhino.

Chebii was shot last night and leaves a 4 months old male calf.

On average 10 rhino/elephants are being poached each day – with the escalation in poaching recently becoming nothing less now than an out-and-out crisis.

Although we recognise that the photo’s posted here are very shocking indeed, we at Lady Lori – with our own constant and ongoing commitment to conservation and wildlife management – very much feel that we had to bring this to your attention.
